2007 UK Intergenerational Conference 'Across the Divide', The Role of Intergenerational Practice in Building Better Cross Generational Understanding, 17th - 19th July 2007, University of Manchester, United Kingdom

The Centre for Intergenerational Practice (CIP) has accepted an interactive workshop proposal of EAGLE entitled ‘The International and European Future of Intergenerational Activities’ (Workshop Session 1; 18 July 2007; 11:30) for the 2007 UK Intergenerational Conference 'Across the Divide', The Role of Intergenerational Practice in Building Better Cross Generational Understanding from 17th - 19th July 2007 at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

CIP will host its third UK conference for those interested in intergenerational work to meet, network, share experiences and learn from one another.  Registration is now open and all details, including conference booking, can be found on the Centre’s conference website pages: http://www.centreforip.org.uk/default.aspx?page=16203

Delegates are being offered the opportunity to contribute their experience and knowledge through a series of workshops and posters the conference seeks contributions on the following themes:

* Youth Led
* Intergenerational Volunteering for Active Citizenship
* Community Intergenerational Activities
* Principles of Intergenerational Practice
