The EAGLE Toolkit for Intergenerational Activities
The EAGLE Toolkit for Intergenerational Activities provides a framework primarily for practitioners, but is also of interest to policy makers and educators, who want to develop and/or implement intergenerational programmes based on a well articulated framework that has a foundation in analysed good practice.
The new
EAGLE Toolkit for Intergenerational Activities is based on the EAGLE work program and draws together a number of aspects of the program to provide a set of practical tools and approaches mainly for practitioners, but also for policy makers and educators. The Toolkit is furthermore supported by a resource bank of analysed intergenerational case studies drawn from six European countries. These studies illustrate typical examples of the variety and range of intergenerational projects and illustrate the range of practice across Europe and can be accessed through the EAGLE Practice Showcase.
The concept of the ‘The EAGLE Toolkit for Intergenerational Activities’ was verified and the Toolkit finally validated by users, project managers, researchers and policy makers in the following European pilot sites:
- Manchester City Council in the United Kingdom;
- Citizen’s Initiative for Education TABULA in Germany;
- Project Office 'Dialogue of the Generations' in Germany;
- Grandparents & Grandchildren (G&G) projects in Italy and Spain;
- Romanian Institute for Adult Education (IREA) and Department of Sociology and Psychology at the West University Timisoara in Romania;
- Department of Sociology at the National School of Public Health (NSPH) in Greece.
Please help us to further improve, refine and enhance the Toolkit by answering our short Online Survey on the overall coherence and suitability of the EAGLE Toolkit!
